We are both certified Quilt in a Day teachers and YES...Eleanor Burns is as wonderful in person as she is on TV!

I began quilting in 1992 while recovering from surgery.  My husband Perry suggested I take that quilt class that I'd been pondering about for some time.  I lovingly blame him for the fabric and machines that have taken over our home!

Beth and I met at a charity night quilt group meeting and became fast friends.  Since then we haven't slowed down!  New ideas, new techniques, quilt classes, quilt shows, longarms etc.  (I've got a Babylock Crown Jewel and Beth has a Millennium).

Beth Glass

My love of quilting began in 1976 when I made my first quilt.   I have not stopped since!  I managed to quilt while teaching 6th graders for 33 years - my favorite grade.  I retired in June 2010, and my husband and I moved from California to New Mexico where I purchased my longarm machine (a long desired dream).  Over the years I have met and made wonderful friends through our passion of quilting.  These friendships are valued and never forgotten.

My husband of 40+ years has always encouraged and supported me in my quilting endeavors!
